When Can We Have Easy To Understand Rules and Regulations and Bylaws and Covenant Changes?
CAN WE GET ANY OF THESE PROJECTS DONE BY THE END OF 2010?
Below is the new rules that I and some friends worked on to bring fun back to IML. Sensible and easier to understand rules. Rules that might actually make someone buy or rent here in IML as a fun place to live. I would love to see these rules in place this year but in my opinion some people feel threaten by change. At this point I think it will a cold day in hell before we see anything like the printed rules below as our Rules and Regulation.
Well I feel (MY OPINION) it is time and the boards right to get anal retentive committee members to shake the cobwebs off and get off their butts and get moving on the above items or dissolve that committees and get what is needed done by the Board of Directors and reform these committees with new members under a Standard Operating Procedure. With these new members who willing to do a task given by the board in a timely matter.
This current board wanted to tackle the Restrictive Covenants and bring them to the 21st Century! We wanted people to have electric motor trowelers on the lakes. We don't have to have lines like dish antennas and clothes lines you need permission from the founders of IML. We wanted to tackle the By-Laws as to also bring them up to current laws and easier to read like the covenants. But at this pace (MY OPINION my three years will be up before they are even any movement on these issues at this pace.
If this is what you want than get up and call the Board Members! Tell them I want new RULES and By-Laws worked on and a priority. Work on those old Covenants and amend them to this century. Get a Covenants Committee up and working on them. Call the IML Office, tell your neighbors get on the Google Group and say I want IML no longer known as the compound or Stalag IML! Bring Fun back and make rules and By-Laws that make sence.
